Recipe Using Quaker Granola!

I found this recipe at Better Recipe and wanted to share it with you!  The only difference is that I used a different brand of granola.  Check it out!  Quaker Oats Natural Granola

SPEEDY STOVE TOP APPLE CRISP
1-1/2 pounds Granny Smith apples, peeled and thinly sliced
3/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
1 tub (individual serving size, about 1/4 cup) caramel apple dip
1/2 cup Quaker granola
2 Tablespoons toffee bar bits

To make filling, spray a large nonstick skillet with butter-flavored nonstick spray and set over medium heat. Add the apples and apple pie spice; cook, covered, stirring occasionally, until the apples are just tender, about 8 minutes. Stir in the caramel topping. Increase the heat and cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the filling thickens, about 2 minutes. Spoon a scant 3/4 cup filling onto each of 4 serving dishes. Sprinkle each one with 2 Tablespoons cereal and 1/2 tablespoon toffee bits and serve at once.

I hope that you enjoy as much as I did!

Natural Granola by Quaker

I have FINALLY found a great tasting granola.
It isn't too sweet and has the perfect crunch.

I has a few more calories than I would like: 200 calories, 6 grams of fat, 5 grams of fiber and 10 grams of sugar.  I don't eat it as a cereal.  I make a yogurt parfait with it!

You can't go wrong with this one!

Shout Out to Apple!!!

I just had to give a shout out today to Apple.
Their customer service is the best that I have seen.
I talked with them for about a week before purchasing an iPad from someone.
They answered all my questions and were VERY patient.

THANK YOU!

I am a proud an iPad 3 owner!

Special K Pastry Crisps - Chocolatey Delights

A friend told me about the Special K Pastry Crisps and LOVES the Brown Sugar Cinnamon, so I thought I would try them.  I was excited about the package of 2 being only 100 calories, so I bought the Chocolatey Delights.  I am always looking for the quick chocolate fix.  I am sad to say that I do not like them.  I expected them to be more crispy because of the name.  My first bite was OK although not too flavorful.  My second bite left me wondering if I had a stale box.  I think that the filling makes it a little soft.  Because I was not expecting this, I didn't enjoy them.

I will try the Brown Sugar Cinnamon and hope that they are more flavorful and crispy!  Besides, who can eat cinnamon rolls everyday and "get" away with it?

If you come across a great sale on these, I would buy a box to try.
